Step 2

Step 3
- Wet a non-abrasive sponge or a melamine eraser.
- Make circle shaped movements to reach deep into the structure.

If there is a remaining stain, you can use acetone locally (always follow the health and safety instructions on the bottle). Also after this step, it is recommended to rince well and dry.
Deep Cleaning Disclaimer
Before following these instructions, please verify whether your matte surface is FENIX®. Be aware that not all similar-looking matte surfaces have the same resistance to cleaning liquids. When in doubt, the supplier of your piece of furniture will be able to clarify if it is FENIX®.
Watch the video and follow the steps described to bring your surface back to the cleanliness of day one.
It does not happen often, but if you have not regularly cleaned your FENIX surface correctly over time, dirt from multiple sources can build up inside the microstructure and cause it to change appearance.
Deep Cleaning FAQ’s
What is deep cleaning?
Deep cleaning is a lot more thorough than regular, everyday cleaning. It’s a chance to remove grease, dirt and other substances from all of the surfaces that might not usually get touched. However, deep cleaning usually takes place regularly in commercial settings such as bars, restaurants and work spaces, so it’s good to have clear instructions on how to deep clean if you have FENIX® surfaces.
Can I use this deep cleaning method in my commercial space?
Yes. This method works perfectly in commercial settings. In fact, FENIX® surface materials are made with commercial spaces in mind.
Is the FENIX deep cleaning method safe?
Yes. Our deep cleaning method is completely safe and does the job of deep cleaning our products, whether that be your kitchen countertops or bathroom cabinets. Please note, however, that our cleaning instructions are designed specifically for FENIX® products and we are not responsible for any damages on other materials when using this method.
